About Us
The Student Government Association (SGA) of the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine (HMSOM) represents the student body and will work towards advocating for students’ needs and fostering an inclusive community for all HMSOM students. Our mission is to improve student well-being and encourage leadership by creating events, experiences, and networking opportunities in extracurricular spaces. Our guiding pillars in pursuing this mission will be “ACT,” to “Advocate” for the student body, to “Connect” students with their peers and alumni, and to help students “Thrive” in their medical education and beyond. We, the members of the SGA, strive to cultivate a thriving environment where students can become well-rounded future leaders of medicine.
